The Family Medical Center is a designated rural health clinic owned and operated by Lawrence Healthcare. As a designated rural health clinic, health care is provided to persons in an underserved area and is required to have an advanced practice nurse on hand seeing patients 50% of the time the clinic is open. Providers offer specialty care including pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine and diabetic care, to name a few.
Internal medicine specialist, Dr. Paul Vellozo, is our clinic medical director. Dr. Vellozo, Dr. Kevin Diamond, Dr. Samantha Hatfield, Sandra Howard APRN, Mary Meyer APRN and Sara Woodson APRN provide medical care for the clinic.
We accept all major insurance as well as Medicare and Medicaid. A sliding fee schedule is also available. The clinic is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Providers see patients in the office but also serve patients in Lawrence Memorial Hospital and Lawrence Hall Health & Rehabilitation. They are dedicated to their patients and committed to providing excellent healthcare.
